PLANET โ†’ PROBLEM โ†’ PROTOTYPE

9 Planetary Boundaries. 9 Challenges. One Room. Real Solutions.

An interactive climate innovation sprint by The Truth Untold (TTU) ร— Echoz

What if a climate event didn't end with awareness, but began with action?

Join us in Bengaluru for an interactive, community-driven experience where climate challenges become starting points for research, collaboration, experimentation and early-stage solutions.

PLANET โ†’ PROBLEM โ†’ PROTOTYPE brings together founders, students, researchers, young professionals, climate enthusiasts and ecosystem builders to explore complex environmental challenges and experiment with practical ways to address them.

This is not a conventional panel discussion or a passive learning session. You will work with people from different backgrounds, tackle a real-world challenge, develop an idea, create a quick prototype and present your thinking to the room.

Part 1: Planet โ†’ Problem โ†’ Prototype

Start with the bigger picture

We begin with a short, visually engaging introduction to the nine Planetary Boundaries โ€” a scientific framework for understanding the Earth-system processes that maintain a stable and habitable planet.

Participants will explore how these planetary-scale challenges connect with everyday life, communities, businesses, technology and the choices we make.

Join a multidisciplinary team

You will collaborate with people who may approach problems differently from you. Teams will randomly pick one of nine planetary-boundary challenges and work through a structured innovation sprint.

Together, you will:

  • Understand the problem: Explore the challenge, its context and the people or systems affected.

  • Map stakeholders: Identify who experiences the problem, who influences it and who might help solve it.

  • Develop a solution: Generate ideas, challenge assumptions and choose an approach worth exploring.

  • Build a prototype: Turn your idea into something tangible, such as a sketch, service blueprint, user journey, clickable concept or simple demonstration.

  • Pitch your idea: Present the problem, proposed solution, intended impact and next steps.

You do not need to be a climate expert, designer or developer to participate. Curiosity, collaboration and a willingness to experiment matter most.

Present, learn and take ideas forward

Teams will pitch their concepts to a jury and/or the audience. The top three ideas will have an opportunity to continue through the TTU ecosystem, with potential support in customer discovery, mentorship, prototyping and connections with relevant collaborators.

The objective is not to promise that every idea will become a startup. It is to help promising ideas take a meaningful next step towards validation and action.

Part 2: From climate challenges to sustainable mobility with Echoz

The second part brings the same problem-solving journey into a real-world application: transportation.

Echoz is an AI-powered sustainable mobility platform being developed to help commuters compare transportation options based on factors such as cost, travel time, reliability and environmental impact.

Choosing how to travel is not always straightforward. A commuter may need to balance affordability, convenience, time, accessibility and sustainability. We want to better understand these trade-offs and explore how mobility decisions can become more informed.

Rather than giving a conventional product presentation, we will invite participants to take part in a short customer-discovery exercise.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Reflect on your own commuting and travel challenges.

  • Share the factors that influence your transportation choices.

  • Explore the current Echoz prototype and its approach to mobility decisions.

  • Give honest feedback on the experience, recommendations and potential usefulness.

  • Help identify problems, assumptions and opportunities worth investigating further.

Whether you commute daily, have recently moved to a new city or regularly travel across cities, your experiences can help inform what we build next.

This is an opportunity to contribute to early-stage product discovery โ€” not a sales presentation.

Why attend?

Learn: Explore the Planetary Boundaries and how complex climate challenges can be approached through structured problem-solving.

Build: Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop a solution concept and a quick prototype.

Connect: Meet founders, researchers, students, professionals and people working towards a more sustainable future.

Experiment: Experience a practical innovation sprint rather than only listening to talks.

Contribute: Share your perspective on sustainable mobility and help shape the ongoing discovery process for Echoz.

Continue: Explore opportunities to take promising climate ideas forward through the TTU ecosystem.

Who should attend?

This experience is designed for:

  • Early-stage founders and aspiring entrepreneurs.

  • Students and young professionals curious about climate innovation.

  • Researchers and skilled professionals interested in applying their expertise.

  • Climate and sustainability enthusiasts.

  • Designers, technologists and product thinkers.

  • Ecosystem builders, community organisers and potential collaborators.

  • Anyone interested in turning environmental challenges into practical solutions.

You do not need to arrive with a startup idea or a technical background. Bring your curiosity, experience and willingness to collaborate.

About the organisers

The Truth Untold (TTU) is a climate and sustainability-focused learning and action ecosystem that brings people together to explore complex challenges, collaborate across disciplines and develop solutions through research, experimentation and prototyping.

Echoz is an AI-powered sustainable mobility platform being developed to help people make more informed transportation choices by comparing options across practical and environmental considerations.

Together, TTU ร— Echoz aim to create spaces where people move from understanding problems to testing ideas and taking action.
