The exploration
Cubbon Park is shared, but not evenly — people take the paths, lawns and benches, and everything else takes what is left. Participants walk a short stretch of the park and use LOKA to record the places other species actually use: shade that is occupied, a tree full of birds, where something that isn’t a person drinks, where food ends up and who eats it. Almost none of this exists on any public map.
What participants record becomes a shared map of the park as its other residents use it.
